Investigator David Underwood is still trying to piece together what happened that Friday night.
The shooting happened after the Colquitt County Packers won their football game.
The shooting happened near a house in the four hundred block of 2nd avenue.
A man shot at a high school victory game celebration in Moultrie is in jail himself tonight. Investigators say shots were fired near a house in the 400 block of 2nd avenue Friday after the Colquitt County Packers Football victory.
22-year-old Jarelle Nether was shot in the shoulder and showed up at Colquitt Regional Medical Center early Saturday morning. Investigators are still trying piece together what happened.
"You know we have a lot of incidents where people just fire weapons and they just shoot a gun, they shoot it in the air, they shoot it at anything," said Investigator David Underwood of the Moultrie Police Department. "So we're still looking into it as whether he was targeted or if it was just somebody randomly shooting a weapon."
Nether was wanted in Worth County for a probation violation. He was arrested and remains in the Colquitt County Jail.
