OCILLA, GA (WALB) -

Ocilla police and the GBI are investigating an attack on a woman in her Alder Street home last night.

The woman, though to be in her nineties, was attacked about 1:00AM, they believe. She was taken to Tift Regional Hospital for treatment.

Her condition was called 'stable' by authorities this morning.

Police are interviewing neighbors to see what they can learn as they search for the culprit.

Cade Fowler will have more information from Ocilla later today on WALB.
