School officers ask questions regarding recommended changes

Posted: Updated:
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

School police officers tonight had a chance to ask questions as the school board continues to go over an external review that recommended changes to the police department.

"All of us can improve, it's not in just one department, we're looking at every department throughout the district in ways to become more efficient, save money, become more productive with the people we have in place, to make this a better place for children," said Dr. David Mosely, Superintendent, Dougherty County School System.

Dr. Mosely says the board will continue to work with school officers to address their concerns before coming up with any recommended policy changes.
