The Seminoles furiously responded to their 7-3 second quarter deficit vs. Nevada, eventually winning 62-7 on Saturday evening.
Winston who dazzled in his debut with 256 yards and 3 touchdowns, was on point again Saturday. Winston was 15-18, threw for 2 TDs and ran for another.
Winston threw an interception in the first quarter but didn't have an incompletion for the rest of the game. He says, his team got mad being down early and that brought out the best in them.
"When all of us are mad, instead of all of us getting down, we got a couple of guys who are like, 'hey come on, I got to set myself up, let's go'," Winston continued. "It's like a snowball effect. When it starts rolling, people start picking up and we keep playing and we go higher."
The Seminoles host Bethune-Cookman next week.
