Secret Service counterfeiter hearing reset

A 51 year old Leesburg man who authorities say had fake Secret Service badges and other documents did not have a lawyer for his bond hearing in federal court Thursday morning, so his hearing was postponed until Friday.

In a federal indictment, prosecutors say for the last two years, Lonnie Mark Jacobs made and possessed two counterfeit Secret Service badges, as well as counterfeit vehicle parking placards, metal license plates, business cards, identification cards, and training certificates for the Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security.

Prosecutors say the ID had Jacobs picture on it, with the false name Josephino Lazaro.
