African Children's choir sings in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

South Georgians enjoyed a performance by the African Children's Choir Wednesday night at First United Methodist Church in downtown Albany.    

The children from Uganda are traveling this country sharing stories about what life is like there through song and dance.     

A spokesperson with the choir says they are glad they came to Albany and says the people here have been very receptive.  

"It is a better opportunity because people are always excited to see us and its amazing seeing different people the Americans are really welcoming people it's very exciting to see them from place to place," said Joseph Mukasa, Spokesperson, African Children's Choir.     

The next stop for the African Children's Choir is Havana, Florida.
