ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An update now on a robbery at a south Albany restaurant.

We know there is no surveillance video of Monday night's robbery at Popeye's on South Slappey Boulevard.

Managers tell us the cameras were being repaired when three men, one armed with a shotgun, and robbed the restaurant about 9:30.

Now investigators are trying to determine if it's connected to another robbery across the street.

Monday night the robbers came through the back door of Popeye's when employees opened it to take out the trash.

They grabbed the cash drawer then ran toward Cedar Avenue where the cash drawer was recovered.

No arrests have been made.

If you have any information, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
