State troopers are investigating the cause of a south Georgia woman's death after a single car crash.
Monday afternoon, 81-year-old Dolores Lyon ran off Nashville-Enigma Highway in Berrien County.
The car struck two signs, went though a yard, and ended up in a ditch.
Officials say Lyon had a history of medical issues and may have died before the crash.
"At this point it is unclear if the occupant of the vehicle died as a result of the crash or possibly an existing medical condition," said Sgt. Jeromy Roberts.
Friends of Lyon tell us she was a beloved woman in the community.
