Albany Chick-fil-A to honor "Hometown Heroes" on 9/11

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Three Albany Chick-fil-A restaurants will host Hometown Heroes Day on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All uniformed active and retired military, firefighters, police officers and first responders are invited for a free Chick-fil-A meal during that time. The meal includes an entrée of choice, a side item and a beverage.

The participating restaurants are listed below:

    Despite the scattered showers, we saw Saturday some people just couldn't resist hitting the water. In the morning, the Kinchafoonee Creek was at a good water level for boaters.
