TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

A 19-year-old Tifton man is in custody tonight, accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint several months ago.

Herman Johnson, Jr. and a 15-year-old are charged with the May 2nd robbery of the Quick Stop on Highway 82 East in Tifton.

Investigators said the suspects were armed with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money when they entered the store a little after 11 p-m.

Police said anonymous tips led them to the suspects.
