Lee County Library Gets Holocaust Exhibit

A piece of history is about to make way at the Oakland Library in Leesburg. An exhibit called "Witness to the Holocaust" will display photos and a testimony from soldier, William Alexander Scott III. After two years in the army, he was became an historian and photographer documenting the war.

"It's been 50 years since there has been key events in the civil movement here in Georgia and so its been a good year for it to come through as a reminder," says Library Assistant Andrew Tillman.

The exhibit will draw parallels between Germany's racial laws and the US' Jim Crow Laws.

"I do enjoy learning about history, especially how its gonna relate to our Georgia history," he says.

A experience he hopes to share with the community.
