LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

The dive team in Lee County has finished their second day of searching for a possible human arm in the Kinchafoonee Creek.

It's a developing story we first told you about Saturday night. The Lee County Fire Department dive team spent more than five hours searching for the possible limb. Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals says yesterday a group of swimmers picked up what they believed to be a human arm, got scared and dropped it. Divers began searching last night and so far nothing has come up.

"There was a two and a half hour delay from the time they supposedly seen it from the time they called us about it. Hopefully we'll get something found out here and cleared out with the hope of nothing to it," said Sheriff Reggie Rachals.

Chief Deputy Lewis Harris says he's not sure if they'll continue the search. The GBI, and DNR assisted in the search.
