ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police are searching for a brazen thief caught on surveillance video looting an Albany fashion store.

The store owner says she is not sure her business will be able to survive the theft, but she hopes someone can identify the crook.

Officials say the thief kicked in the back door of Jenny's Fashion on North Haley Street around 5:45 a.m. Thursday.

They say the thief took shirts, hats, shoes, shorts, and money. He also smashed two cash registers. More than five thousand dollars of merchandise was reported missing.

"I know I won't get anything back because he's probably already sold everything," said owner Tammy Hill. "I hope he just gets what's coming to him.  Get arrested."

Hill hopes someone will help her identify this thief, who looted her store.

If you know this man or have any information about the theft, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.  You could earn a reward.
