VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Three young Valdosta men are behind bars after police say they tried to break down a woman's front door in the middle of the night.

Police found Kristopher Brantley, Deangelo Daniels, and Jordan Orr wandering the Johnson Street neighborhood Saturday night right after a woman called 911 saying three men were trying to break in.

Police arrested the men for prowling and also found gloves in their pockets.

"You could use your own judgement of what three people were doing at 1 in the morning, trying to kick open a door. But they were charged with prowling," said Lt. Aaron Kirk, Valdosta Police.

The men are booked in the Lowndes County jail.
