ERIE COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

One person is dead after a fatal accident in Erie County Saturday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Ellen J. Gaskalla, age 66, from Huron Ohio, was driving on Frailey Rd. when her vehicle went off the right side of road.

After hitting two mailboxes, Ms. Gaskalla, overcorrected and drove back onto the roadway where her vehicle overturned. The vehicle went off the left side of the road and ended up in a ditch.

Troopers say Ms. Gaskalla was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash is still under investigation.
