An Albany Police cruiser has been involved in a crash on South Slappey Boulevard.
APD says that about 2:05PM, a 2009 APD car driven by Gang Unit Investigator Roy Cromer ran into the back of a 2012 Honda driven by Sharon Senkbeil of Albany.
Both drivers were traveling north in the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard when Senkbeil slammed on brakes to avoid hitting a vehicle in front of her.
Cromer said his vehicle slid, and he could not avoid striking the back of Senkbeil's vehicle.
No was taken to the hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
