A Worth County Sheriff's deputy was not in his cruiser when another car hit it head on early Thursday morning.
According to Sheriff Jeff Hobby, Deputy Mike Lamb had parked his cruiser on the shoulder of Red Rock Road around 2 a.m. while he was looking for something in the area nearby.
Officials say Edward Favreau was traveling down the road and crashed into the cruiser head on.
No injuries were reported and no immediate charges have been announced.
Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
