Men plead to child porn, counterfeiting

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

With information from Michael J. Moore, U.S. Attorney

Last Monday,  Kenneth E. Henderson, 49, of Tifton, entered a plea of guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography in Valdosta Federal Court.

A search of Mr. Henderson's computer by law enforcement revealed videos and images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.  Some of the videos and images involved prepubescent minors and minors under the age of twelve.

Henderson admitted that he searched for and viewed child pornography on the internet during a seven month period while he was assigned as an employee of the US military in Kuwait.

Henderson faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, and could get 20 years, and a fine of up to $250,000.00.

Two days later, Jonathan Moody, 25, of Nashville, plead guilty to two counts of counterfeiting $100 and $20 bills. He used the counterfeit money to make purchases and receive change in genuine currency from merchants in the Valdosta area, causing financial losses to those businesses.

Moody faces up to twenty years in prison and a $250,000.00 fine on each of the two counts.
