UPDATE:

The Bacon County Coroner, Vic Peacock, says a man and woman from the metro Atlanta area were killed in Saturday's plane crash.

Federal Aviation Administration officials say a Hawker Beechcraft A-36 went down 12pm Saturday near Alma, which is about 70 miles northwest of Brunswick.  Peacock says 58-year-old Sid Shah, of Tucker, and Shama Gamkhar were killed in the crash. Investigators believe the two were husband and wife.

Authorities say the plane was flying from Fernandina Beach, Florida to Lawrenceville, Georgia when the crash happened.
