Two dead in Bacon Co. plane crash

UPDATE:

The Bacon County Coroner, Vic Peacock, says a man and woman from the metro Atlanta area were killed in Saturday's plane crash.  

Federal Aviation Administration officials say a Hawker Beechcraft A-36 went down 12pm Saturday near Alma, which is about 70 miles northwest of Brunswick.  Peacock says 58-year-old Sid Shah, of Tucker, and Shama Gamkhar were killed in the crash. Investigators believe the two were husband and wife.

Authorities say the plane was flying from Fernandina Beach, Florida to Lawrenceville, Georgia when the crash happened.

Two people have been killed in a plane crash in Bacon County. 

Vic Peacock, the Bacon County coroner, has confirmed that two people have been killed.   Peacock says it happened around 11:40am Sunday.

    Albany Police have responded to a robbery by snatching at the National Package Store on Oakridge Drive. Dispatch has confirmed the call came in just before 8 p.m. Saturday, and the suspect fled the scene.
