ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A Worth County man, battling a lung disease, received a little help Saturday, after a lawn mower was raffled off.

Lawn Performance and Grasshopper Mowers raffled off a $7,000 lawn mower Saturday.

Ken Howze was the lucky winner. For weeks people bought raffle tickets to help Eddie Etheridge, get the lung transplant he needs.

"We really appreciate it. I mean lawn performance, Channel 10, our local media coming together to help somebody in need it's just an overwhelming experience, said Rocky Etheridge, nephew.

425 raffle tickets were sold. The money raised will go into Eddie's Help, Hope, Live account for treatment and medical expenses. He's getting treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
