Marine returns home to warm embrace

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany Marine made it back to the Marine Corps Logistics base on Friday after an overseas deployment.

Fellow Marines greeted Ronny Adams when he landed at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport on Friday.

He spent seven months on duty in Afghanistan. He told us he appreciates the warm welcome home.

"It's nice to know coming back, being supported, people along the way saying 'thank you' for the service, it's a great thing," said United States Marine Ronny Adams.

Adams reunited with his family at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina when he first arrived back in the country.
