VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Two drivers injured in a head on collision in Valdosta are expected to be okay.

Wednesday night on Old Clyattville Road state troopers say Rashaun Porter drove this Chevy Cobalt into the opposite lane and ran into Heather Toreson's car.

She and her children were leaving Wild Adventures. The children are fine. Toreson was taken to Shands Hospital in Gainesville. And Porter is recovering at South Georgia Medical Center.

"One of the major contributing factors is obviously the heavy rain, the roads had a lot of water on the roadway. We don't know at this point whether the colbat hydroplaned on the water, or whether there was something else that caused the vehicle to lose control," said GSP Sgt. Carl Taylor.

Troopers haven't cited anyone as they continue to investigate.
