LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

A south Georgia high school football team received a big check for their athletic program from a car dealership.

Sunbelt Fordtown of Albany gave $2,800 to the Lee County High School Football program. They have been raising money for the team since May based on the number of people who come in for test drives.

The dealership says it's a great way to support schools. Each school can get up to $6,000 through the Ford program.

Sunbelt plans to hold a fundraiser in September for Westover High School.
