AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

The folks behind a planned multi-million dollar South Georgia racing facility are looking for investors.

Investors in Star Racing's 470 acre Americus Motorsports Complex will be structured through a Private Placement Memorandum with specific contribution minimums.

AMC officials are working on loans for $7.5 million.

They say plans are moving ahead and they're looking forward to breaking ground.

"It looks good, we are putting together the  paperwork and the forms needed to have a pro forma where we can put together an investor package that would be of interest to people that are looking for a short term and long term investment opportunity. So it's coming together pretty fast," says George Bryce of Star Racing.

AMC officials hope to break ground by the end of this year.
