BOSTON (RNN) – Police took a suspect into custody after a shooting in a Boston area hospital on Wednesday.
Shots were fired in the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary when a prisoner being transported to the hospital grabbed a sheriff's deputy's gun and shot him in the leg. A second deputy shot the suspect in the chest, critically injuring him.
No one else was injured, and no one was killed in the shooting. The deputy is expected to recover from his injury.
