ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

More than 50 students from Albany Technical College celebrated a milestone in their education Wednesday.

Albany Tech held a capping and pinning ceremony for their summer semester students in the Health Care Technology programs.

Vicki Tucker, the former Albany Tech Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, was the guest speaker.

Students in Practical nursing received a cap, which means they are halfway done with the program.

Those in the Dental assisting, Medical assisting, Pharmacy technology and Radiologic technology programs received a pin, representing their graduation.
