ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A Ford Expedition driven by Felicia Pitts hit the driver's side of a Toyota Camry driven by Luis Byrne's at Jefferson Street and Whitney Avenue.

Emergency crews had to cut Byrne's out of his car. One witness told us seeing the crash shook her up.       

"It made me nervous because I've been in several car accidents and I heard this loud noise and it made me think that I hit someone and I sat there for a minute and seems as though I had blanked out because everything just went blank and I was looking around to see if I hit someone," said Doris Milledge , witness.  

Paramedics took both drivers to the hospital. Police charged Byrne's with running a red light.
