VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A power failure left much of Valdosta in the dark late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Georgia Power representatives say a car hit two poles in East Valdosta that caused the outage.

It happened around 11:45pm Saturday and power was completely restored by 4am Sunday.  About 2,300 customers were impacted.
