VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police are looking for a burglar who broke into a dental office and stole crowns.

Sometime overnight Wednesday, someone broke into Elite Crown and Bridge on Lee Street and swiped $2,500 worth of dental plates and gold crowns.

"This is kind of unusual for something like that. Somebody must have known what he does there, and knew that me made some of the items out of gold. So they took a chance of trying to steal some," said Lt. Aaron Kirk, VPD.

Officials say the gold in the crowns isn't worth much. If you have any information on the burglary Valdosta Police ask you to call them at 229-293-3145.
