Former football standout pleads guilty to robbery

A man with a violent criminal history is one of two suspects about to be sentenced for an armed robbery.

20 year old Nyneson Jeudy and 22 year old Jarrett Sutton entered guilty pleas this week for a 2010 armed robbery of a Dollar General in Coolidge.

The Thomas County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the GBI and U. S. Attorney's Office on the case.

"We actually got information from a confidential informant that knew who had perpetrated the crime. We were able to interview Mr. Sutton at the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office. He admitted to his participation in the crime," said Lt. Tim Watkins.

Jeudy was sentenced to 15 years in prison last year for a Brooks County carjacking.

And after he's sentenced for the Coolidge robbery, he will head back to Colquitt County to face murder charges.

He's accused of gunning down 41 year old Bernardino Perez in April 2009.
