LANIER COUNTY, GA -

Lanier County Sheriff's investigators are looking for a burglar who broke into a Stockton convenience store.

Surveillance video shows the man breaking into the Bulldog Store on Highway 84 Saturday night.

The alarm sounded, but when deputies arrived the crook was gone. He covered his face and hands and got away with the cash register drawer and a cash box.

"Anybody that might have seen anybody running along the intersection of 84 and 129 Saturday evening around 11:40/11:50, please call the Sheriff's Department," said Detective John Olsen.

That number is 229-482-3545. Investigators do not know the man's race but believe he is 6'1 to 6'4 and 180 to 190 pounds.
