TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

A south Georgia man who has run three dozen Boston Marathons says a popular magazine is glorifying the accused marathon bomber.

The latest issue of Rolling Stone features suspected terrorist Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.

Tifton's Mike Beeman was less than a half mile from the finish line when the bombs went off. He says he was surprised to see Tsarnaev's picture plastered on the Rolling Stone cover.

"We used to put pictures of people that were heroes and accomplished in their fields on the cover of magazines and I find it hard at my old age to accept that if you do something really rotten that you not glorify. His picture is out there and people know it. And I hope there's no copy cats out there," said Mike Beeman.

Beeman was declared an official finisher of the marathon by race officials. He received his medal a month after the bombing.
