The candidates eligible for the Miller County special election for Sheriff have been named after qualifying ended at 12 noon Wednesday.
The four candidates are listed below:
-Wesley Shane Rathel - current interim Sheriff
-R. J. LeFrancois - currently with Dougherty County Sheriff's Office
-Mike Middleton - currently with Georgia-Pacific
-Scott Lawson - currently with Colquitt Police Department
Once elected, the winning candidate will serve a term that ends on December 31, 2017.
