A south Georgia company
will be bringing more jobs to the area.
Thrush Aircraft announced
they have a contract to build 20 planes that are used for spraying agricultural
crops for China through the U.S. Government Export-Import bank.
their contracts, they were able to hire many workers. Owner of Thrush Aircraft
is proud that they are able to employ some South Georgians.
"It helps the local
economy, it keeps people employed, as we grow our business here, we're hiring
more and more people, in the last year we've added about 60 employees,"
said Payne Hughers, owner, Thrush Aircraft.
Thrush Aircraft has sold their planes to
individuals in a number of places including, Argentina, Canada, and Brazil.
