Family and friends are coming to help a Worth County man in his battle with a lung disease.

Eddie Etheridge has been suffering from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis for three years.

He is on the double lung transplant list at the Mayo Clinic in Florida and his medical bills are adding up.

His family and friends are holding a barbeque on July 20th to raise money for the Help, Hope and Live.

The money raised will go towards the Southeast Lung Transplant Fund.

Despite the fact he is now needs oxygen to help him breathe, Etheridge is keeping his spirits up.

"Taking it day by day. You got to take what life deals you. I'm not going turn over and give up," said Eddie Etheridge.

The Barbeque will be at Lawn Performance. There will be a drawing for a Lawn Mower.
