AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

Hundreds of job seekers flocked to Americus Thursday for a job fair at the South Georgia Technical College.

PharmaCentra interviewed applicants for 40-60 openings with their Quality Assurance Division.

The company opened an Americus extension five years ago and has seen growth in its customer service call monitoring operations.

They're looking for part-time and full-time employees to fill shifts at various hours in the day.

"Being a quality assurance monitoring type division, you know, it doesn't really matter when you monitor those calls.  We can monitor those calls early in the morning, late in the afternoon.  There may be some availability for some Saturday and Sunday work if necessary, so it opens it up for a lot of applicants," said Rica Askew, Client Services Vice President.

Nearly 100 people signed up for the job fair within the first hour.

Anyone interested job seekers who didn't make it Thursday can still submit resumes at hr@pharmacentra.com
