ECHOLS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

Two people are facing drug charges after the Echols County Sheriff found meth in a car during a traffic stop.

Sheriff Randy Courson pulled over a silver Lincoln LS on Hwy. 376 early Thursday morning because a brake light was out. Courson called for assistance and searched the vehicle, finding methamphetamine and other drugs.

Courtney Carter, 21, and David "Little Man" Windel Chaney Jr., 32, are charged with felony possession of drugs and felony possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Carter and Chaney were taken to the Lowndes County Jail.

There was no immediate word on a bond amount.
