South Georgia Tech's Anthony Ethridge wasted little time making a name for himself as one of the best players in the junior college ranks.
Now he's being invited to showcase his talents on a bigger stage.
Ethridge has been offered a spot at the Mullen's Top 100 JUCO camp in St. Charles, MO on July 12-14, becoming the first Jet ever invited.
"We are very pleased that Anthony Ethridge was invited to this premier event for Junior College basketball players," said SGTC Athletic Director and Jets' head basketball coach Steven Wright. "This is a big honor for him and for South Georgia Technical College."
The Mullen's Top 100 camp is one of the most highly attended basketball events of its kind every July. Up to 300 four-year coaches are expected to attend.
Ethridge is the only players from Georgia invited to the camp.
The Jets' sophomore burst onto the scene his freshman year, earning First-Team All-GCAA honors.
The 6'5" swingman led the Jets in scoring at 19.1 points per game, and was ranked among NJCAA statistical leaders in six categories.
Ethridge has signed his letter of intent to return to SGTC for his sophomore season.
