We're learning more about how the woman found dead in the Ocmulgee River is connected to her accused killer.

Kenneth Murrow says 25 year-old Joshua Helton, who's accused of killing his 64 year-old mother, was a friend of his.  He says he would often invite Helton into his mother's Tampa home.

Helton is accused of shooting Judy Murrow to death and then dumping her body in the Ocmulgee River in Telfair County.  A fisherman discovered her body face down on July 4th.

"I don't understand how you can be so heartless and ruthless. That's a dirty thing he did. That was a brutal murder. I don't know how you could do that to somebody," said Kenneth Murrow.

Family members, along with investigators are trying to figure out what led up to the murder. Helton is currently being held in the Hillsborough County jail with no bond.
