ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

This week's flooding and severe weather kept folks away from the carwash but Sunday's sunny weather welcomed people in to get their cars cleaned in Albany.

Car after car pulled into Oasis Express on Slappy Blvd bringing the most traffic they've seen all week. Folks not only cleaning out their exterior but spending some extra time cleaning out the interior as well.

"The rain has let up so, I had to come out here while it's a pretty day and get my car cleaned up, I am glad I got some much needed work done," said Tony Cox as he cleaned his truck.

Employees at the carwash said they don't usual see this much traffic on a Sunday.
