UPDATE:

AN ASIANA AIRLINES BOEING 777 HAS CRASHED AT SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

AN FAA SPOKESMAN SAYS IT HAPPENED AS THE PLANE WAS COMING IN FOR A LANDING.

FLIGHT 214 ORIGINATED IN SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA AND WAS DESTINED FOR SAN FRANCISCO.

SMOKE IS POURING OUT OF IT. THERE'S NO WORD YET ON FATALITIES OR INJURIES.

FAA is reporting a Boeing 777 operated by Asiana Airlines crash landed in San Francisco.  Firefighters have arrived at the scene.
