JACKSONVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Telfair County Sheriff Christopher Steverson says an autopsy is expected Friday on the body of a woman who was found in the Ocmulgee River in Jacksonville, GA.

Officials say the body was found just before 11 a.m. Thursday. The woman has yet to be identified.

She is described as a white woman with medium length darker hair with grey roots. She has a scar on her chest that someone might have after open heart surgery. She was wearing black capri pants and a khaki shirt with rhinestones on it and the names of wines written on it.
