Tifton's Independence Day celebration originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 3 will be postponed due to impending inclement weather, according to a report Tuesday morning.
The event, set to be held at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture will be rescheduled for a later date.
In addition, the Historic Village, Museum, and Gallery will be closed during the day Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Country Store will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
