GBI releases names in double homicide

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released the names of two people they say were shot to death at a home in Seminole County.

Authorities say Eliace Smith, 49, and Heber Jetti Bennett Jr., 64, were found shot to death inside their home. GBI investigators received a call around 8:00 a.m. Monday after the two were found dead.

Agents say they are actively searching for suspects and are treating the case as a double homicide. Officials are also asking if anyone knows about the crime to call the Seminole County Sheriff's Office of the GBI.

Agents say the two victims did live together but have not released their relationship.
