ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Fans of all ages came out to see their favorite WWE wrestling superstars up close.

Folks poured into the Albany Civic Center for this years WWE event. Many fans grew up watching wrestling and are excited to see the show come to South Georgia. Some fans say it's a positive event, despite last weekend's tragedy in Louisiana, where a 5 year-old girl died after her 15 year-old relative performed W-W-E style wrestling moves on her.

"I know these kids, they look up to these wrestlers from a positive standpoint and I just hate that happened with him trying a move at home, but I just hope that doesn't damage the sport of wrestling as a whole," said Kelvin Hill, a fan.

Hill has children of his own and stresses the importance of talking to kids about professional wrestling and making sure they understand that these moves should not be done on each other.
