ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany area seniors showed they still have some good moves Friday night.

The Albany Recreation and Parks Department hosted a senior prom at the Civic Center. A good crowd showed up to the dance that wrapped up about 11:00 p.m.

Prom coordinator Tee Taylor said, "It's about the smiles I see coming through that door. It's about the people who sometimes are afraid to get out their cars or leave their homes, but they have a chance to come downtown where it's safe and just have a good time."

Florance Bryant was the lucky winner of a limo ride to the prom courtesy of J.L. Litman funeral home.
