ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

An Alabama resident is one of the Georgia Lottery's newest winners, claiming a $100,000 Fantasy 5 ticket sold in West Point.

LaFayette, Ala., resident John Heard is the winner who claimed his prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Columbus.

The ticket was sold at Sunlit, on 101 W. Eighth St. in West Point, and matched all five numbers from the June 17 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The store that sold the winning ticket has sold winning tickets before, with one last February worth $100,000 and a $52,000 a year Win for Life top prize in 2010.

A photo of Heard was not immediately available.
