Residents at Phoebe Putney are putting their medical skills to the test at an outdoor challenge course at Darton College.
The residents learned team building skills that can be used in their professional career as well as their everyday lives.
They played a series of games involving communication skills to know one another better. Challenge course instructors say these activities are a great way for residents to relate to their patients and provide quality healthcare.
The program helps the doctors "Understand their importance in society, and that they are not going to be able to do it alone. They have to rely on one another as a team, in order to be successful, and in order to take care of their patients," said Darton Challenge Course Bill Riddle.
The residents will be introduced to the public next week at Phoebe Putney.
