An Albany Marine is home from Afghanistan. William Woolin provided logistical support during his 3 month deployment.

Friends and relatives were at The Marine Corps Logistics Base Thursday night to welcome William Woolin home.

"It feels surreal, I wasn't expecting all of this. I'm happy everybody came and showed their support. It just feels the love that everybody is out here you know with their arms open to embrace me," said William Woolin, Marine.

Woolin also just received a promotion in part because of his outstanding service during his deployment.
