Former Cairo Syrupmaker JJ Wilcox has made it official in Big D, inking his rookie contract with the Dallas Cowboys Wednesday.
The team did not release the terms, but it is reported the deal is worth nearly $2.8 million over four years, with over $500,000 guaranteed.
Wilcox was Dallas' third-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft.
The former Georgia Southern Eagle will likely contribute on special teams, and has a chance to earn the starting safety spot.
